The short answer
Yes. The most dedicated students in the Kung Fu Kendra Wing Chun Online Certification Course, training every day, finish all 10 levels and earn the Sifu title in about eight months. Many take longer. Students move up when they pass each level, not by the calendar.
Why it is realistic: accelerated learning
- Daily practice: short, focused sessions every day instead of one long weekly class
- Clear syllabus: 10 published levels, one at a time, from first stance to Sifu
- Rewatchable lessons: slow down and replay any detail
- Fast correction: film yourself, compare with the lesson, fix it the same day
How it is pressure tested
- Specialized drills: Chi Sao (One Arm, Cross Arm and Double Arm), footwork, kicks and all 108 wooden dummy techniques
- A partner if you have one: a friend or family member who pushes, grabs and resists, for example in the Level 6 self-defence exam against pushes and wrist grabs
- Solo option: solo drills and the wooden dummy, with a partner brought in when a level calls for one
How the standard is kept
A written exam and a video exam at every level, graded personally by Sifu Kendra, with written feedback and retakes. Level 10 requires five written theses and a full practical exam of every form, all 108 wooden dummy techniques and 30 advanced combat techniques.
