Who we are
WingChunReviews.com is a guide to Wing Chun courses, gear, books, films and lineages. It is owned and published by Sifu Kendra Mahon (Kung Fu Kendra), who is responsible for this site and the data described in this policy. See our About page and ownership disclosure for more.
Information we collect
Review submissions. When you use our review submission form, we collect what you enter: your name, your email address, and the content of your review (your experience, any ratings and comments). This is stored on our server so the submission can be moderated, meaning checked for spam, abuse and personal information that shouldn't be published, before it appears on the site.
Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
You don't need an account to use this site, and we don't knowingly collect information beyond what comes through these channels, other than the standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) that web servers record when any page is requested.
How we use your information
- To moderate your review and, if it's approved, publish it on the relevant page.
- To contact you about your submission if we need to clarify something.
- To reply to messages you send us.
Your email address is never published with a review. Only the name and review content you provide for publication are shown publicly.
Third-party services
This site loads some resources from third-party providers, which may collect standard technical data (such as your IP address) when those resources load:
- Google Fonts, for the site's typography.
- Embedded video players (such as YouTube), on pages that include videos.
We don't use these services to build advertising profiles of visitors. Please see each provider's own privacy policy for how they handle data.
Cookies
This site does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. Embedded third-party content, such as videos, may set cookies under that provider's own policy once you interact with it.
Data retention and your rights
We keep review submissions, including the name and email attached to them, for as long as needed to moderate them and, for published reviews, while the review remains on the site. You can ask us to delete the personal information linked to your submission, or to send you a copy of what we hold about you, by emailing [email protected] from the address you used.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date above shows the most recent revision.
